Watergate Community Association
The Watergate Roofing Project was completed in four phases from 2001 through 2004. The Association selected DuroLast 50 mil. Tan PVC membrane for their 440,800 sq ft complex.
The existing built up roof systems were removed down to the plywood substrate. 1/8″ tapered insulation was mechanically attached to the deck after fill insulation was installed in deflected areas to assure positive drainage. The 50 mil DuroLast membrane was installed over two layers of Elk FB1S fiberglass sheeting to provide a Class A fire rating.
The installation was featured in the Western Roofing Jul/Aug 2002 magazine after the completion of the second phase.
The article highlighted the satisfaction that the Association found using the DuroLast membrane.
